Virtual Trade Show Booth
Showcasing Clinical Education via a Virtual Simulation Room

This project was done in XR Terra VR&AR Designer program in 2020. My teammate Julie Popovich was working for Advocate Aurora Health(AAH), so we decided to tailor this project for the company situation. We created three connected scenes in Unity Engine, a traditional tradeshow booth, a virtual SIM room and a futuristic trade show booth experience. Julie was taking responsibility of the first two scenes.

My role: I ​​envision and implement a futuristic trade show booth with the theme of heart & vascular. I built a surrealistic human heart interior environment in Blender and created a virtual tour inside the model where users are able to teleport on blood cells to navigate forward while being immersive in the company marketing campaign, communicate with doctors in avatar, and some other fun interactions.

Our VR scenario built in Unity Engine tells the brand story of Advocate Aurora Health(AAH) in a virtual medical trade show. Users start from a traditional trade show booth environment, then teleport into a virtual simulation room and join medical students to identify a heart disease.To practice the medical treatment, users will teleport into the human heart scene, and destroy the blockage in the Artery with controllers. After the practice, users will experience company's marketing campaign in a more exciting way and meet physicians in avatars. Next, I'll write about how I build the third scene, a futuristic trade show booth experience.
How I build the futuristic virtual trade show booth experience. Where are users?What can users do?

1/3 Artery

Users start in the Artery. Their first immersive interaction is to destroy "blockage" in the artery with controllers.

2/3 Right Atrium

After clicking the download app button to start the marketing campaign video, users enter the right atrium and navigate forward by teleporting on blood cells. Users will see the mission of AAH along the journey.

3/3 Right Ventrical 

Users teleport through the animated valve and enter the right ventrical where located the information center. Users can meet physician in avatars, choose gifts, and browse service& treatment with controllers.
